The Fossil region of the Dubai desert is famed for its rolling red dunes, which account for its nickname. In addition, it is the site of “Big Red” (“Al Hamar”), a massive red dune that is around 300 feet high that is a popular site for thrill seekers adventurous enough to go dune bashing there. Since it is only thirty minutes south of Dubai, Lahbab is also a popular tourist destination for sightseers, with tour buses regularly making stops there. Your evening Red Dunes Desert Safari is scheduled for the evening, which is one of the most popular times for desert adventures. We will pick you up and take you back to your hotel in an air-conditioned 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser. The route to the safari site is along the scenic Hatta road which passes through some spectacular desert vistas. Once you arrive, you will be treated to a dune bashing session as well as a photo opportunity with Big Red as a backdrop, which will be taken at sunset. We will then take you to our desert camp to enjoy a delicious BBQ buffet dinner with unlimited refreshments provided, included Arabian coffee and tea as well as cold soft drinks and water.
